We offer a wide variety of competitive benefits, services and programs that provide our employees with the resources to pursue their goals, both at work and in their personal lives.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and enhance front-end applications by fixing errors, raising risks, and escalating issues where necessary.Identify and resolve front-end issues through code reviews and testing.Promote a security-minded approach to front-end development, applying secure coding principles.Make design decisions that contribute to a consistent and reliable delivery of front-end product requirements.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, to gather requirements and design comprehensive front-end solutions.Develop and maintain front-end applications using Angular.js and other relevant frameworks, adhering to best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.Implement RESTful APIs and integration layers to enable seamless communication between front-end and back-end components.Write high-quality, well-tested code and perform thorough unit testing and integration testing to ensure robustness and quality of front-end applications.Monitor front-end application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application behavior using relevant monitoring and logging tools.Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback to team members, and promote coding standards and best practices.Qualifications & Experience:Requires significant knowledge of front-end development principles typically gained through a university degree and 5 years of experience or HS diploma/technical school and relevant certifications plus 5 years of experience.Experience as a UI Developer with familiarity in Angular.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Angular or React.Experience in developing and deploying front-end applications on AWS using services such as Amazon S3 and CloudFront.Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration patterns.Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes.Writing, debugging, unit testing, and performance testing front-end code.Basic understanding of AWS services like S3 (for hosting) and CloudFront (for CDN).Demonstrates openness to learning and developing. Takes responsibility for their own development and growth.Openly considers new ways and solutions to enhance their own work and offers new ideas/continuous improvement.On-site ProtocolBMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs.
