Wisetack’s SMB & Mid-Market Merchant Sales team is seeking an Account Executive to prospect, onboard and activate merchants in the home services industry. Today, tens of thousands of merchants offer Wisetack financing to their customers. This position will be a highly visible role that drives our growth in 2025 and beyond.Responsibilities
Develop a high-quality pipeline of SMB and Mid-Market merchants with the goal of driving higher loan issuance for Wisetack.Drive the sales process from start to close. Onboard prospects and help them become active users of Wisetack financing, generating issuance volume.Perform product demonstrations with prospects using screen share over Zoom.Collaborate cross-functionally with other Growth teams (e.g., with Enterprise Sales team on high-value customers, with SDR team for lead generation).Develop a detailed understanding of Wisetack’s value proposition and product features in order to articulate the benefits to prospects.Develop insights about your target group and communicate product and marketing needs back through the Wisetack organization.Demonstrate good pipeline hygiene by maintaining a complete, accurate, up-to-date sales pipeline and activity log on Salesforce.Where necessary, attend industry conferences to meet with prospects and generate new leads.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field5+ years in Sales, Business Development, or Partnerships with a track record of exceeding targets and experience working in an incentive-driven compensation modelHunter mentality, with a high degree of comfort executing all stages of the sales lifecycle, from initial outreach (via email, LinkedIn, cold calling, or in person) through to sales closing, onboarding, and activationAbility to work closely with cross-functional internal teams (e.g., Partnerships, Merchant Growth, Marketing, etc.)Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface and influence at the senior levelsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and with strong time management skillsCreativity and strong critical reasoning skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentStrong passion for Wisetack’s mission, and for the businesses that comprise our partners and customers.Ability to work effectively in an exclusively remote work environmentThe right candidate will be intellectually curious, hardworking, self-starting, customer-oriented, and will always prioritize integrity over short term results.Bonus points
Experience working in a startup / growth-stage environment, ideally a venture-backed tech or FinTech companyExperience with field service software, invoicing software, or point of sale lending/paymentsFamiliarity with CRM and prospecting tools such as Salesforce and ApolloThe base salary for the position is $100,000 plus commission, equity, and benefits.
