IT Developer Analyst

As our IT Developer Analyst in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s North America’s Global Energy Management & Supply (GEMS) Group, you will work alongside a software development team to design and develop web and cloud-based applications using the Microsoft .NET framework and Azure platform. Every day, you will report to the Software Developer Lead to assist with meeting goals of the team’s transformation by assisting implementing redesigned systems and processing using the latest digital technology. You will report to the Director, Solutions Delivery.What You’ll BringA minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, engineering, or similar field where you have studied various programming languages and software methodologies to aid in design and development of applications; In lieu of a four year degree, you should bring a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in which you have gained an understanding of software development where you have designed and developed web and cloud-based applications.You are familiar with Microsoft SQL Server and possess a solid understanding of database management and operations.You are familiar with Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage, leveraging them effectively for cloud-based solutions.You have experience with Git or other version control systems, ensuring codebase consistency and collaboration.You have the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and standards.You have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to resolve application issues efficiently.You have experience in performing code reviews based on defined coding standards and actively contribute to improving those standards.You hold the ability to coordinate with product owners, architects, and system owners in testing and deploying new features, ensuring alignment with project objectives.This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, three (3) days a week in office.Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.CompensationSalary Range:
$62,400 - $87,150 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus/incentive plan.At ENGIE, we take your well-being seriously.
