Become a part of the “strength within.”Hexcel is currently seeking a Director – Demand Management for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location.The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:Create Forecast Models:
Develop and refine models based on industry trends and demand patterns. Conduct monthly updates and address demand-related issues promptly.Enhance Accuracy:
Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.Communicate Insights:
Effectively share forecast and inventory estimations with management.Monitor Changes:
Keep an eye on sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.Support Management:
Assist with risk assessments and mitigation activities.Analyze:
Interpret sales data to make suggestions on how to improve the sales process.Collaborate:
Work with team members and the inventory team to ensure optimal inventory levels.Budgeting:
Help develop annual budgets and streamline costs.Innovate:
Develop “go to market” models for products and campaigns.Streamline Operations:
Standardize sales operations and eliminate bottlenecks.Qualifications:Degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or other related fields. MBA preferred.Proven work experience in inventory optimization.Statistical forecasting expertise.Global supply management experience.Strong financial analysis skills.Functional management experience managing others demonstrating coaching and collaboration.Pipeline, program, and project management experience.Demonstrated experience in analytics and reporting.Up to 25% travel associated with this role.US citizenship is required.This position is restricted to U.S. citizens due to U.S. federal government contracts that require the employment of only persons who are U.S. citizens.
