If you are passionate about joining an organization that is focused on making the world a better place and a team that is committed to attracting world-class research talent, read on:RecruiterThe Recruiter will play a key role in helping to source, attract and hire talented staff into a broad variety of technical and research roles at RAND.They will partner with colleagues to enhance proactive recruiting strategies, sourcing, and talent pipelines in order to attract specialized talent to RAND. This recruiter will also be a key contributor to RAND's campus and conference recruiting strategy.The successful candidate will be experienced at sourcing unique professional and technical skill profiles in a variety of areas.As part of our active commitment to increasing the diversity of our workforce, the person in this role will help us in our current work to refresh and strengthen our diversity outreach strategies and to increase the consistency of our recruiting processes.Job Responsibilities
:Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders (hiring managers and HR colleagues) to obtain an understanding of current and future staffing needs, and partner to develop effective recruitment strategies to attract outstanding talent.Identify and utilize appropriate targeted sourcing and research tools; including online searches, social media, networking, and targeted campaigns to proactively source candidates and build diverse candidate pools.Contribute to the strategic and administrative functions of RAND's campus and conference recruiting program.Review, update, assess and disposition candidate applications submitted online through WorkDay, RAND's ATS system.Screen candidates and facilitate interview and hiring decision-making process with hiring teams, while ensuring a high level of candidate engagement and positive candidate experience.Partner with internal colleagues to create, measure, and report on data-driven recruitment strategies.Contribute to recruiting strategy development and outreach efforts and develop strong relationships with key external partners to help build a robust pipeline of diverse candidates.Collaborate with colleagues to advance our recruiting processes.QualificationsAbility to use multiple recruiting methodologies with proven track record of sourcing, engaging, and recruiting administrative, technical and/or research related professional and leadership roles preferably in a research, technology, education, or consulting setting.Proven knowledge of labor markets, contemporary recruiting practices and effective social media recruitment tools.Demonstrated cultural competency and past success in sourcing and attracting diverse talent for a variety of professional roles.Experience working in an organization(s) with well-developed recruitment practices and measurement, with a commitment to diversity.Strong communication and relationship building skills.Ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively with others at all levels.High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with an analytical mindset.Experience building strong business relationships with candidates and hiring managers.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required; proficiency with WorkDay is preferred.Ability to maximize the use of LinkedIn, job boards and social media to attract talent.Ability to develop and execute recruitment strategies to achieve greater diversity in our talent pipeline.Certification in recruiting or diversity recruiting is a plus.Experience/exposure to recruiting in a federal contractor environment is a plus; knowledge of OFCCP regulations is helpful.Available for occasional travel.Term PositionThis position is a 2-year term position with the possibility of renewal for an additional year alongside options for longer term employment.Education RequirementsBachelor's degreeExperienceFour (4) or more years recruiting experience with at least 2 years of in-house experience.Two (2) or more years of sourcing experience in building diverse pipelines and attracting diverse talent.LocationSanta Monica, CAWashington, DCPittsburgh, PAThis position offers a hybrid work schedule with time in the office and the ability to work from home 1-2 days per week.Salary Range
: $85,700 - $127,500RAND considers a variety of factors when formulating an offer, including but not limited to, the specific role and associated responsibilities; a candidate's work experience, education/training, skills, expertise; and internal equity. The salary range includes base pay plus RAND's sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken).
