Sales Operations Analyst Gaithersburg, MD; San Diego, CA

Your Tasks:

Working with the sales management team and business systems, the Sales Operations Analyst will assist and enhance the department's activities and effectiveness by ensuring streamlined tracking of sales performance for each team member. Additionally, the Sales Operations Analyst will assist and enable sales territory analysis including CRM adjustments and planning through the thoughtful and statistically valid creation of analytical reports. On-boarding, job-specific training and further competency thresholds will be gauged and documented to ensure training gaps are addressed and proper training is scheduled for each role/contributor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Track sales performance to objectives across department including individual contributors, regional and national teams. Aid in the process of sales target and budget generation, load and track sales targets and budgets in corporate systems and reports. Prepare routine territory/region analyses including strategic accounts, SMART goal reports, and other relevant reports as needed. Analyze market trends, organization set-up and report on options to compete better. Prepare monthly sales incentive reports, annual sales award calculations as well as periodic sales contests and rankings. Maintain on-boarding checklists for sales department personnel and coordinate completion of on-boarding activities with relevant cross-functional resources. Maintain records of sales department employees concerning training and ongoing development activities. Generate sales reports and track resource allocation. Liaise with service and operations to supply, track and maintain demonstration equipment. Travel as needed for sales meetings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; A minimum of 2 years' experience with sales operations business systems and analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with CRM and ERP systems is required, SAP experience preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel.

Must have ability to handle more than one task at a time and must work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to travel routinely by car and plane.

This job is performed in a variety of facilities. Each person performing this job must have a home office environment, which is temperature controlled. This job requires the person to be mobile to visit customer sites. Due to the travel requirements, this position may be exposed to natural elements of nature. Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this job and strict safety guidelines and SOPs must be followed and Personal Protective Equipment must be worn. All persons performing this job will receive appropriate training prior to engaging in work requiring Personal Protective Equipment or SOP procedures.

For Candidates based in San Diego, CA, the anticipated base salary range has been established at $91,100 - $123,300/year. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above salary range represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
