POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is primarily based in Milburn, New Jersey with occasional local travel, including to our NYC office, and remote work. Expected days in the office are 3-4 days per week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business / Program Model Development
Support the creation of models for PS wrx programs, including building revenue models and defining cost structures. Continuously update and refine models as programs evolve, while identifying and communicating potential risks and opportunities.
Conduct detailed analysis of the return on investment for individual programs, with a particular focus on those that generate financial returns for students. Assist in building and refining models that evaluate program-specific financial outcomes.
Research to gather and analyze information on organizations offering similar services/programs. Use this data to understand the competitive landscape and maintain an up-to-date database of peer organizations.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with teams to gather data, set targets, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Regularly update financial forecasts to reflect changes in the business environment, providing analysis on trends and any deviations from expected results.
Maintain a comprehensive cash flow model, monitoring trends and cash available for investments.
Support enhancements to financial data tracking to monitor data by program / business line.
Presentations
Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate key findings to senior leadership.
Support creation of Board materials to engage board on business model and other topics.
Partner Collaboration
Prepare proposals for new partners and support creation of cost structure.
Assist in financial and other analyses required for partners; may include analysis of charter school financial models and/or other financial analyses for charter schools
Support management of vendor contracts
Operations
Identify and implement software solutions: lead efforts to research, recommend, and implement software tools that enhance operational efficiency across PS wrx programs. Ensure that selected software solutions align with the organization’s financial modeling and reporting needs.
Data Management and Reporting Systems: set up and maintain centralized databases and reporting systems that aggregate data from multiple programs, ensuring real-time access to organizational key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

Required Skills:
Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial concepts, such as ROI, net present value, and financial ratios.
Proficient in managing and analyzing large datasets using Excel (advanced functions).
Ability to distill complex financial information into easily understandable reports and presentations for non-finance stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with the ability to assess situations, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
Experience required:
2-3 years of experience in a financial analysis role, ideally within the real estate or finance sectors.
Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment is a plus.
COMPENSATION
This role has a salary range of $75,000 to $85,000. Compensation for this role will depend on experience, demonstrated performance on core competencies, and internal equity alignment.
