Job Description
The VP of Strategic Partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving growth and business development by enhancing and expanding strategic partnerships with key industry players such as AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks. Reporting to the SVP of Global Growth this role is focused on accelerating business opportunities and fostering high-impact value based relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partner Growth: Develop and nurture high-value relationships with major partners and alliances. Negotiate strategic agreements and manage long-term partnerships to maximize business potential and drive revenue growth.
Collaborative Value Creation: Partner with Product Marketing, Account Managers, and Capability Practice leads to identify, articulate, and promote Blend’s value proposition. Tailor solutions to align with Partners' technology and drive mutual success.
Sales Enablement & Pipeline Development: Lead initiatives to increase Blend’s visibility and integration within Partners’ sales teams. Drive co-marketing efforts and create a robust pipeline of Blend services and Partner products through strategic sales activities and collaboration.
Operational Excellence: Oversee Partner Operations, including lead management, pipeline development, and revenue tracking. Ensure seamless integration and hygiene of partner-originated opportunities to optimize sales outcomes.
Thought Leadership & Representation: Represent Blend at industry events, conferences, and Partner forums. Contribute to thought leadership and enhance industry recognition through active participation and strategic messaging.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to partnership success, revenue generation, and customer adoption. Use insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:Qualifications
Experience & Expertise: 5+ years of experience in building and managing technology partnerships, with a focus on enterprise software and services. Proven track record of success with major platforms like Databricks, Microsoft, AWS, and Snowflake platforms is highly desirable.
High-Energy & Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to drive business growth with a high level of energy and a strong bias for action. Adept at scaling relationships and creating opportunities in complex organizational environments.
Technical Acumen: Experience working with technical consultants, solution architects, and data engineers to create client value through partnerships. Familiarity with Modern Data Stack concepts such as Composable CDP, Data Mesh, and reverse ETL is a plus.
Sales Savvy: Proven ability to navigate and close large-scale deals, manage long sales cycles, and creatively leverage partners to achieve deal closure.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with partner executives, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
Independent & Agile: Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. A willingness to travel as required to engage with partners and represent Blend at key events.
