ManTech is looking for a motivated, customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain/troubleshoot Windows servers and workstations, both on-site and remote
Perform Windows system administrative support to include adding and removing users, installing software and monitoring systems
Maintain domain controllers, file servers, application servers and other cloud resources
Properly receive and triage customer incidents in the ticketing system
Follow standard operating procedures to accurately log all tickets within the ticketing system
Properly escalate unresolved tickets to the next tier of support
Assist in configuring baseline switches, routers and PCs being prepared for deployment
Coordinate equipment preparation and shipping, confirm customer receipt, and validate inventories
Perform remote site surveys and identify requirements for hardware and cabling
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of related experience as a System Analyst/Administrator or similar role
DoD 8570 Level II certification
Experience with network and patch management
Experience of system security, data backup/recovery, and network monitoring
Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
10 % local travel
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution
DoD 8140-451 Intermediate Certification required (Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or GSEC) -OR- equivalent DoD/Military Training as identified in 8140 qualifications matrix
ITIL 4 Foundations certification
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years
Willing to submit to a random polygraph
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, and computer printer.
Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involvedelivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
