is seeking an experienced
Operational Energy Project Manager
to provide support to the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy Resilience and Optimization (ODASD(ER&O).
This position is currently hybrid. Work may be performed at the customer facility in Alexandria, VA (The Mark Center - https://markcenter.com/), The Pentagon, at the TRG headquarters in McLean, VA, or remotely.
This position is Contingent upon Contract Award.
Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Core hours are between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide consistent support and proactive oversight of relevant energy resilience and resourcing processes and identify gaps and opportunities relative to threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation options.
Develop and cultivate partnerships to advance organizational priorities and mission.
Provide logistical supportability of operations; operational risk reduction; contingency base development and operations; air, sea, and land platform energy requirements: Inter and intra-theater fuel flows, capacity, distribution, and sources of energy supply and demand, facilitating the Joint deliberate planning process.
Institutionalize lessons learned for future operations; and analysis of logistics, supply and other systems that may provide options for reducing theater energy demands.
Experience and Technical Qualifications:
Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
A minimum of 20 or more years of progressively responsible experience of which at least 10 years is experience in program/project management of DoD utilities/energy, Federal Agency utilities/energy, or large private sector utility systems is required.
Master's Degree in a recognized engineering, scientific, technical, management or related discipline that is relevant to the contract and experience at the OSD level is preferred.
