The Cornerstone project is hiring a
Senior AWS
C loud Engineer
to work on implementing AWS integration solutions. This individual will work directly with business partners and other IT team members to understand desired system requirements and to deliver effective solutions within the Agile methodology. Participate in all phases of the development and system support life cycle. Primary responsibilities are to design and implement cloud integration solutions that will interact with the TriZetto and Facets software packages. The ideal candidate is a technologist that brings a fresh perspective and passion to solve complex functional and technical challenges in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
ResponsibilitiesCloud Development including design, coding, unit testing, triaging and implementation.Designing and developing end to end fully functional and optimized cloud solutionParticipate and conduct code reviews with scrum teams to approve for Production deploymentEstablish/Improve/Maintain Proactive monitoring and management of supported assets assuring performance, availability, security, and capacityMaintains a strong and collaborative relationship with delivery partners and business stakeholdersAbility to work in a fast paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environmentAbility to work with distributed/remote teamsAbility to work independently as well as collaborativelyAbility to focus and prioritize workRequirements
Understanding and experience with Agile development methodology and conceptsExperience with RESTful APIs and SOAP servicesSoftware development experience with Python and NodeJS.Experience with the following AWS Services:
Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EKS, Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, S3, and RDS.
Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka.Strong knowledge of Data Integration (e.g. Streaming, Batch, Error and Replay) and data analysis techniques.Experience developing with containers (e.g. Docker, EKS, etc.).Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform.Experience with Security Concepts (e.g. Encryption, Identity, etc.).Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL programming (tables, views, triggers, stored procedures etc.).Experience with AWS Glue using PySpark and SparkSQL.Desired
Experience with Databricks.Experience with Docker.Experience with OpenShift.Experience working with databases such as Aurora and PostGres.Experience with Apache Airflow.Experience with AWS API Gateway.Experience in Healthcare.Experience in Healthcare Claim or Enrollment functions.Experience supporting Medicare technology platforms
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
