Oversee all financial operations and accounting activities, ensuring governance, risk management, and compliance remain a priority.
- Gain a deep understanding of operational workflows, utilizing process mapping to identify control risks, inefficiencies, and potential improvements.
- Manage monthly closes, produce timely reporting such as month-end, flash, and headcount updates.
- Prepare detailed, bottom-up, 12-month expense forecasts and next-year entry rate projections on a recurring basis.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, distill findings into actionable insights, and deliver high-level reports to senior leadership covering budget-to-actuals, month-over-month trends, forecast comparisons, and version tracking.
- Cultivate strong relationships with departmental leaders and project managers, promoting collaboration and alignment.
- Oversee the annual consolidated audit process, and prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a key resource for global financial activities, ensuring adherence to US GAAP standards.
- Maintain and enforce reporting deadlines for both internal and external deliverables.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members to achieve both individual and organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience, with at least two years in public accounting preferred.
- Active CPA license is mandatory.
- A proactive, intellectually curious professional who thrives on learning, takes initiative, and is resourceful while knowing when to seek input or feedback.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, fostering a collaborative team environment.
