MDA SATCOM/Communications Network Engineer

A client in Huntsville, AL is looking for an MDA SATCOM/Communications Network Engineer to join their company.
Day to day:- Offer engineering/technical and project management expert knowledge to develop and deploy robust, end-to-end, high availability, test and operational communication networks for the sharing of information amongst MDA resources.- Execute systems engineering and integration inclusive of Military SATCOM Architecture studies/long haul communications engineering/analysis to encompass: site selections, site surveys, strategic capability development, site planning, offering on site construction support, site implementation leadership, communications equipment selection, staging, installation, integration and testing management.- Offer technical analysis of designs provided by Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).- Develop facility requirements and engage in facility design reviews.- Organize the installation of facility requirements.- Facilitate working groups/technical interchange meetings.- Integrate communication system components into a bigger system.- Create/brief information/staff coordination packages for leadership.- Execute assessments of network test data.

Required Skills & Experience-12+ years of experience related to systems engineering and a Master's degree in a STEM field.- Secret Clearance- Radio Frequency (RF) and waveform communications system design experience.- Experience with DoD terrestrial and satellite communication systems (MILSATCOM)- Knowledge of telecommunication systems test data- Knowledge of the process of requirements review and design review- Knowledge of the way requirements are flowed down from system specifications to elements specification
Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Top Secret Clearance- Tactical data links (TDL J, Link 11, Link 16) systems, encryption systems, precision timing systems, and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)- Experience with MDA and DISA services.- Large scale construction project experience
