Applicant will be responsible for monitoring the Gary R. Libby University Gallery's exhibition space as well as greeting gallery visitors during open hours. The applicant will be responsible for the opening and closing of the Gary R. Libby University Gallery during exhibitions. The gallery is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 10am - 6pm and Saturday 12 - 4pm. The gallery closes for University holidays including spring break as well as during exhibition installations. The applicant will be expected to work approximately 7-11 hrs./week during the semester when the gallery is open.Compensation: $13/hr.Minimum Requirements:

Applicants should be available to begin working January 13, 2025. Applicants must be a student at the University of Florida. Applicants must be approved for Federal Work Study. Applicants must be available to work 1-2 Saturdays each month when an exhibition is open.Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants must be punctual, reliable, and professional. Applicants must be able to stay throughout the entirety of their assigned times. Applicants must be willing to interact with gallery visitors as necessary.Special Instructions to Applicants:
