Overview This is a unique opportunity to be the first marketing hire for the largest and fastest growing social network for Web3 communities. We’re looking for a multi-talented marketer that can help introduce the world to DSCVR’s unique fintech functionality and value proposition. A good fit for this role will have a breadth of experience in marketing with knowledge or experience in consumer social media and crypto.
About Us DSCVR
(pronounced “Discover”) is the social network for crypto communities, projects and enthusiasts. With 200K+ users, the SocialFi platform has become a launchpad for tokenized communities where users can configure governance, gate based on token ownership, airdrop token rewards and earn digital assets. DSCVR’s upcoming Open API will allow partners to build applications that target through the social graph, distribute through the feed, and monetize in posts. In the face of increasing frustration with Web2 social, DSCVR is bringing back openness, fairness, and optimism. DSCVR’s investors include Polychain Capital, Upfront Ventures, BDMI, Shima Capital, Tomahawk VC, and Fyrfly Venture Partners.

Demonstrating marketing leadership to drive DSCVR’s marketing
Collaborating with the founders to make marketing core to DSCVR and its strategy
Making DSCVR synonymous with Web3 social media
Ensuring DSCVR is always brought up in the conversation about the future of social media
Making DSCVR top of mind with venture investors, crypto communities, and tech early adopters
Working with the founders to craft both a strong and unique brand identity and voice
Integrating cohesive marketing messaging and copy throughout the DSCVR product
Collaborating with the product, community, and design teams on growth and retention experiments and initiatives
Growing DSCVR’s social presence
Working with PR on press coverage, launch events, and conferences
Analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns
Qualifications
3-7 years in consumer tech marketing
Experience in marketing for social media applications
Experience/interest in crypto/web3
Experience working across marketing disciplines including analytical marketing, growth, lifecycle marketing, production marketing, social, advertising, and PR.
Willingness to work in a small, scrappy startup environment
Strong written communication skills and the ability to develop a unique voice that stands out
Experience working with CRM, notifications, and retention loops
Ability to write compelling copy in a variety of contexts including in-product, social media, landing pages, advertising, and PR
Understanding of crypto communities and culture
Ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing performance
Track record of driving marketing KPIs
