USA (100% Remote)Overview:The role of a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer is pivotal to our organization's security posture. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and enhancing the security controls and infrastructure of our systems, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and information from potential threats and vulnerabilities.Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement security controls and best practices for AWS infrastructureDevelop and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates (CloudFormation, Terraform) with security best practicesImplement and manage vulnerability scanning and management processes for AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clustersCollaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and automate security checksConduct security assessments and penetration testing of AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clustersDevelop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines for AWS and KubernetesMonitor and respond to security incidents and alerts related to infrastructure securityProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersStay current with the latest cloud security trends, threats, and best practicesDrive innovation and continuous improvement of infrastructure security processes and toolsRequired Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in infrastructure security, with a focus on cloud security (AWS)Deep expertise in securing AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.) and KubernetesStrong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code practices and tools (CloudFormation, Terraform)Experience with vulnerability scanning, management, and remediation in cloud environmentsFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Solid understanding of security best practices for CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOpsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to lead and mentor junior team membersPassionate about staying up-to-date with the latest cloud security technologies and best practicesAuthorized to work in the United StatesNice to have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldRelevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar)Familiarity with cloud security and DevSecOps practicesYou have experience working in the Bitcoin space
