The Senior HR Business Partner will manage work in human resource areas of specialization, with minimal supervision. They are expected to develop advanced skills and to have the ability to work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects or issues. They are fully competent in use of concepts and procedures. They identify problems, develop solutions and take actions to resolve. The Senior HR Business Partner builds partnerships across the HR function in order to deliver value-added service to management and employees.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performing HR related duties in broad based HR functions (e.g., compensation, benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, labor relations, performance management, policy implementation, affirmative action, employment law, change management).Provides independent consultation on moderately complex to complex issues; is knowledgeable of past internal practices and/or best external practices regarding HR-related business issues.Analyzes and understands information, past practices and business objectives to make appropriate recommendations to management/assigned customers.Develops positive working relationships to effectively complete work activities, to provide strong consultation to management, and to collaborate with a broad range of customers.Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within Nuclear Generation.Assesses, anticipates, and addresses HR-related needs.Completes non-routine HR projects with minimal oversight and has the ability to independently manage project schedules and interfaces.Required/Basic QualificationsBachelor's degreeIn addition to required degree, three (3) or more years related work experienceIn lieu of bachelor's degree(s) AND three (3) or more years related work experience listed above, high school diploma/GED AND seven (7) or more years related work experienceDesired QualificationsMore than five (5) years of HR related experience working as an HR generalistExperience in employee relationsExperience as an HR professional in a plant environmentExperience working with craft teammates as well as senior leadershipWorking knowledge of employment/labor lawsMaster's degree in human resources or human resources management experience in employee relationsUndergraduate degree in human resources or human resource managementSenior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)/Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP certificationStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to deal effectively with all levels of employees and managementProficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Working Conditions4-10s scheduleMust be able to obtain unescorted nuclear accessHybrid - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period.
