Basic/Required Qualifications Enrolled in a 4-year program in Business or HR Related discipline
Must not graduate prior to August 2025
Cumulative college GPA of 2.75 or higher
As sourcing intern supporting Duke Energy, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and learn from experienced talent sourcer's and recruiters in Human Resources. You will use LinkedIn, Workday, and other tools to find qualified talent to fill open roles. This position will be located at the Duke Energy Plaza in uptown Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities Perform candidate sourcing and research to ensure an optimal experience for prospects, clients, and talent acquisition partners
Support hiring managers, recruiters, and regional leadership through talent sourcing and building a pipeline of talent
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition recruiters and sourcer's to understand desired skills and capabilities of talent that is needed, both for active and future openings
Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to source for and network with qualified talent
Effectively articulate a compelling value proposition and business strategy to prospects and candidates
Track and report out on key performance metrics, including progression of sourced candidates through process
Desired Qualifications Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Previous recruiting or HR work experience
Familiarity with LinkedIn, Workday, or other systems used to find and manage potential candidates
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to provide the quantity and quality of work necessary to reach an accomplishment
Works effectively with others from diverse backgrounds to achieve common goal.
Ability to deliver superior results within allocated time through effective prioritization, scheduling, planning and execution of assigned work.
Working Conditions This role is 40 hours/week in a hybrid work environment, with the flexibility to work from the office 5 days a week if desired
Depending on work location, may be required to meet requirements for unescorted access/security clearance.
Internship/Co-op summer session length is 10-12 weeks
