For more information, visit www.yesway.com .Position Responsibilities:Provide development and support for our Verifone / Gilbarco POS environment.Handle Tier III tickets and work with store team members to resolve their issues quickly.Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability of POS.While the role will be key to supporting POS, it will also include troubleshooting store applications such as our rewards program, monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning as well as other duties that may be defined.Create interfaces for current and new systems utilizing PowerShell and SQL, including FTP, data handling between Yesway and third party for new and existing systems.Pulling various data sources via API caller for loading into data warehouse.Provide Level-3 and advanced support for troubleshooting to resolve complex issues.Having independent judgment, creative thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills to discover ways to solve business problems and improve business processes including SQL.Work with TLOG or general log data and be comfortable with the manipulation of that data.Provide on-call support as needed and handle escalations from Tier II support.Will need to understand general configuration changes and be comfortable making updates.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or MIS or 10 years of experience.5+ years of relevant work experience in large organizations in a support role. Must have been part of a tier III development and support organization.Requires 5 years’ experience with SQL, POS, and NET.Experience in C-Stores or retail is required. Fuel pump understanding is ideal.The ability to create APIs for interfacing across various programs and the ability to ingest that data into a Data Warehouse. Creating reporting out of DW.Hands-on experience as a technical support / application engineer. Comfortable with writing scripts to push into production or out to stores and POS systems.Previous role as a tier III engineer or applications support with understanding of ERP and how information flows and be capable of troubleshooting various failure points along the way.Must be able to solve complex and cross-functional problems.Ability to work independently with limited supervision.Comfortable working independently on projects and driving them to completion.Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.Must be familiar with a ticketing system such as Remedy or Service Now.Must have previous POS experience.Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.Experience writing technical documents, software design documentation, and maintenance.Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools.Preferred Skills and Competencies:A proven understanding of database and analysis tools such as SQL and Excel, including demonstrated analytical skills to solve business issues.Yesway is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. #LI-BM2 #LI-ONSITE
