This division has responsibility to build and drive the growth of our global consumer business across our Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and Portfolio brands, and across all our lines of businesses including Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Air, Car, Packages, and Insurtech.Senior Manager, Business Performance Insights - Expedia Lodging & PortfolioWe are looking for a Senior Manager of Business Performance Insights to join the Expedia & Portfolio team at Expedia Group. This role will be responsible for generating business performance insights for Expedia Lodging, which is the largest and fastest growing business in the Expedia portfolio, and our Portfolio brands (Travelocity, Orbitz, Hotwire, Cheaptickets, Wotif, eBookers and CarRentals.com).This is a fantastic opportunity to join the surging travel industry and help drive the business forward while working on impactful and complex problems. You will partner closely with Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Product & Tech, and Supply teams to create compelling business performance insights to help Expedia & Portfolio brands win in the marketplace.What you’ll do:Own analysis of key site metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion, GBV, cancellations, take rate, GP) across multiple dimensions such as Brand, Geo, Experience (or platform), Channel, and Line of BusinessSet annual performance targets, linked with strategic initiatives, and reforecast the targets regularly in close partnership with Finance and business leadsMonitor and drive performance towards those targets, including by optimizing spend allocation and by identifying short- and long-term underlying drivers of performancePrepare and deliver communications via differing vehicles, ensuring various audiences (including VP+) have the right level of detailEstablish trusted working relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Analytics) and build rapport to become a trusted advisorWho you are:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; Master’s degree preferred8+ years of experience in business management, ecommerce, analytics or financial planning within the travel and/or tech industryStrong understanding of financial metrics, forecasting, and budgetingVery strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate key insights and actions for the businessAbility to influence and collaborate with various levels of the organizationExperience in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Tableau preferredThe total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
