The role of Senior Sales Director, Health & Nutrition. This role is responsible for sales execution, forecast development, and AOP achievement across Foodology, Pharmaceutical Ingredients, and Nutraceuticals as part of the Health and Nutrition unit. The primary objective of the business is to achieve results in our Americas market and coordinate a team of nearly 100 professionals in sales and technical roles.WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Sales Team / Collaboration with Technical Team:
Works with Sales leadership to develop growth strategies.Coordinates the evaluation, design, planning, and negotiation of new sales approach and territory structures.Builds a technical process to improve innovation and customer experience within Health and Nutrition.Captures, understands, and communicates market intelligence.Leads and supports efforts to promote and grow new portfolio channels into the Health and Nutrition marketplace.Supports with Geographic expansion opportunities.Supports with Product expansion opportunities.
Customers:Joint calls with Key Customers.Customer retention and satisfaction.Creation of Customer coverage and touchpoint interactions.
PMM Alignment to Strategy and Sales Goals:Collaborate with the PMM Team to drive existing business as well as growth opportunities (M&A, New Supply, or geographic growth), including terminal expansions, transportation needs, etc.
Finance:Deliver and assist with M&A and investment opportunities.Work with Legal & Finance on new customer contracts.Work with Finance on business reporting and financial output to further drive strategy and sales process output.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree required.10-15 years minimum commercial experience.High discernment with ability to understand profit drivers.Deep knowledge of chemical distribution model.Deep knowledge of chemical and ingredients industry with long-standing relationships with producers across the industry.Experience in establishing strong sales structures and in negotiating with senior business managers.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects.Strong analytical skills.Strong dedication to teamwork and collaboration.WHERE YOU WILL WORK:Preference is for candidates located in The Woodlands, TX.Univar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.
