A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking a Mid-level Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of transactional antitrust experience in both private firm and government agency settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in antitrust investigations, particularly with the FTC, DOJ, and State AG. Experience in complex litigations, client counseling, and knowledge of technology industries, pharmaceuticals, health care, and retail is highly desirable. The candidate must demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills, work independently and creatively, multitask across matters, collaborate effectively in a team, assume significant responsibilities, and possess excellent academic credentials. The candidate should be currently licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction(s).Duties:Handle transactional antitrust matters, including HSR filings, deal counseling, and merger investigations.Conduct antitrust investigations with FTC, DOJ, and other enforcement agencies.Provide legal counsel on complex litigations, particularly in federal courts.Offer client counseling on antitrust issues.Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust laws and regulations.Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop effective legal strategies.Requirements:3-6 years of transactional antitrust experience in a private firm or government agency.Experience with antitrust investigations, deal counseling, and merger investigations.Knowledge of technology industries, pharmaceuticals, health care, and retail.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Current license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s), or eligibility to become licensed.Skills:Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and creatively.Multitasking across matters.Collaboration in a team-oriented environment.Assuming significant responsibilities.Excellent academic credentials.Knowledge of antitrust laws and regulations.
