Camping World is growing; this is your opportunity.Camping World & Good Sam is seeking an innovative, high-performing Director, Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development to join our Talent team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and updating our learning, leadership, and organization development strategy and roadmap to influence successful business outcomes while enhancing employee engagement, performance, career growth, and retention. You will build strong relationships with business leaders across the organization to ensure that the solutions we put in place meet the needs of the business, drive results, and are aligned with our business strategy. This individual will report to the Vice President, Talent and will be onsite or hybrid (three days a week) at either of our corporate offices in Chicago, IL or Lincolnshire, IL.Responsibilities of Director, Learning, Leadership & Organization Development include:
Learning, Leadership & Organization Development Strategy:
Responsible for the overall direction including developing a strategic plan, designing, implementing, and delivering learning, leadership, and organization development programs while measuring their effectiveness.Lead a High Performing Team:
Build and lead a team of learning, leadership, and organization development leaders who are business-focused and work collaboratively to solve business issues.Data & Insights:
Build and execute the strategy for evaluating and demonstrating the effectiveness and return on investment for our learning, leadership, and organization development programs.Organizational Development:
Develop the strategy and tools for assessments for developmental purposes, leadership coaching, team effectiveness, and interventions.Change Management and Leadership:
Develop the framework and tools for effective change management and communication for large scale changes within the organization.Leadership Development:
Design and implement the strategy, principles, programs, and processes for leadership development.Budget:
Prepare and review our annual budget and track invoices to ensure timely payment.Required experience and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organization Psychology, Learning, Instructional Design, Organization Development, Human Resources or related field preferred. Master’s degree is highly preferred.Minimum of 10 years of learning, leadership, and organization development or human resources experience with at least seven years in a people management role.Demonstrated experience developing high-impact learning experiences.Experience with change management and building change frameworks; certification in change management preferred.Proven ability to build trusting and collaborative relationships in a fast, ever-changing work environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and keen attention to detail.Strong decision-making skills and ability to operate independently to complex issues.Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain in a stationary position for a prolonged period of time.Willing to spend 25% of the year traveling for business, possibly with short notice.General Compensation Disclosure
The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including skill sets; experience and training; and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.Pay Range:
