A highly entrepreneurial organization that embraces a strong service-based culture, Angel Oak was named a Top 150 Workplace by the Atlanta Journal Constitution the past six years.Position OverviewGenerate sales/interest/meetings for Angel Oak Capital products within a specified geographic territory with financial advisors within the RIA Channel.Principal Accountabilities:Develop leads and actively solicit new investment product sales and meetings through outbound calls and emails to financial advisors within the RIA Channel.Territory calendar management.Schedule meetings for the External Wholesaler with prospects and existing producers.Manage prospects and producers throughout the entire sales cycle.Conduct market research and competitive analysis.Document all daily activities, such as relevant calls, emails, and follow-up activities in Salesforce.com.Prepare investment marketing materials and presentations.Provide sales and client/asset retention support to their External Wholesaler partner.Develop and continually improve upon strong product, industry, market, and economic knowledge.Adhere to all compliance/firm guidelines and requirements.QualificationsMinimum:Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university required.Business, Economics, Finance major.3+ years financial services experience.Prior Internal Wholesaling or Financial Advisor experience preferred.FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 6.Clean U-4.Proficient knowledge of MS Office.Strong written, sales, presentation, and telephone skills.Competitive, results-oriented mindset.Ability to work well in a team environment.Preferred:Demonstrates a strong understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction process.Strong understanding of investment trends, financial concepts, real estate, and credit markets.Must demonstrate ability to grasp and articulate complex topics.Knowledge of financial advisor practices.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.Motivated to achieve success.Outgoing, strong interpersonal skills.Coachable.Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills.Salesforce.com experience preferred.NOTE: These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work involved for this job.
