Ryerson has an opportunity for an Talent Acquisition Partner to lead our talent strategies for the North Region. As the TA Partner, you are responsible for partnering with hiring managers to develop and executing sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract top talent, partnering with HR, advising managers, and coordinating onboarding. Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for sourcing, screening and selection activities, from the notification of the vacancy to the time the candidate joins the company. Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive applicant experience regardless of whether or not the applicant joins the organization. Build and maintain effective business relationships with Hiring Managers. Hold regular meetings with HR and managers to drive accountability for prompt feedback to ensure a positive applicant experience. Employ diverse and varying sourcing and networking strategies to attract both active and passive talent. Develop and/or maintain relationships with new and existing vendors and business partners (i.e. search firms, colleges, employment agencies and consultants) as needed to recruit excellent talent to our team. Review, edit, and enter all new positions into the company's applicant tracking system. All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required. 1 - 3 years of full-cycle, high volume recruiting experience (manufacturing / warehouse experience preferred). SAP and SuccessFactors experience preferred. Proven capability of managing workload in a high-paced environment with demonstrated effective networking skills and direct sourcing strategies. Experience working with applicant tracking systems, recruitment processes, and building talent pools. Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, and other various job boards. Passionate and creative when it comes down to recruiting hard to find talent with a good knowledge of compensation and benefit practices. Professionalism is required when dealing with sensitive and confidential information and documents, high degree of business ethics and confidentiality. Hybrid role, in office four (4) days per week. Must be willing to travel (10%).
