Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.Proven track record of at least two years of experience in a sales positionMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerate qualified leads for the sales team so they can provide a quick response to customers.Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talk with customers by phone.Travel with Account Managers to help grow Residential BusinessProspect potential customers via cold calling, email, Builder's Assoc Mtgs, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads.Maintain the client database/CRM to make sure the sales team can access current information on all leads.Work within your specific territory to find new business opportunities.Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met.Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts.Work with Customer Service Representatives/Inside Sales Representatives/Account Managers to keep account activities and literature up to date.Provide feedback on adequate stock levels.Coordinate customer training.Provide new customer data and other sales data for current customers to be entered into computer database.Develop and maintain relationships with customer contacts.Attend trade shows.Develop and maintain vendor relationships.Provide direction and assistance for Customer Service Representatives/Inside Sales Rep/Account Managers.Responsible for vehicle maintenance and upkeep.Other related duties as assigned.
