Tobin Afterschool in Natick is seeking enthusiastic, energetic part time Group Leaders for our Natick campus for the Fall of 2024 school year. Come join our welcoming, caring team of professionals here at Tobin! Bring your passions to our community. Teach Art, Yoga, Music, Coding, or other special subjects to our students here at Tobin!
Part Time Positions:Part-time positions of 20-30 hours per week, working 1:30-6:00, Monday to Friday at our Tobin Afterschool programExtended hours needed on public school early release days, school vacation days, and snow daysSchool year position with option of summer employmentPotential for Full Time Positions:Working a 40 hour week, with paid 1/2 hour breaks daily, spending 10:00-1:00 at one of our early childhood programs, then working 1:30-6:00 at our Tobin Afterschool programVariable hours may be requested on school vacation days and snow daysYear round employment optionsPosition Description:Work closely in a team-teaching atmosphere providing a warm, caring environment for children.Guide and support the children in their development of interpersonal skills in a fun, respectful, and safe environment.Establish and maintain a positive interpersonal relationship with all children, faculty and parents/guardians.Oversee and facilitate the general safety of the children’s environment and activities.Act as a role model for the children regarding appearance and behavior, communicating with children in a clear professional manner.Qualifications:Candidates must be 18 or olderExperience working with children or in an educational settingEEC Group Leader Qualified preferredEagerness to join our professional team of educatorsBachelor's Degree and/or Dept. of Education Early Education and Care (EEC) licensing is a real plus!Benefits and Compensation:Competitive pay rate based on education and experience12 paid holidays per yearMA Paid Sick Time for part timers, full time employees earn Paid Time Off which increases with longevitySchool sponsored CPR and First AidPaid Breaks (up tp 30 minutes depending on length of day worked)Employee Referral Bonus60% Childcare Discount401K Retirement Plan after 1 year of workFull time employees hired by Jan 1, are paid for our July closure week without using PTOAmple paid professional developmentCome join our amazing team at Tobin – it's a great place to work!

The Tobin School
offers school-year, school-day early childhood early childhood programs for preschool up to to JrK.
Tobin Afterschool
offers afterschool and vacation week care for grades K to 4, as well as summer options for children 4.5 to those entering Grade 5. All of our programs are nationally accredited for their high quality care and offerings.We offer a wide variety of activities and learning opportunities for our students in our large, spacious indoor spaces. We also share a variety of beautiful outdoor learning spaces, including: Infant, Toddler, Preschool/PreK, and School-Aged Playgrounds, garden areas, large turf field, basketball court and large paved space, gaga pit, nature spaces, mud kitchen and loose parts area, and more.
