**This is a temporary Compliance Technician role that will be supporting the completion of Annual Recertifications at properties through the end of the year. The Compliance Technician is responsible for assisting with administering the site's subsidy program and administrative tasks involved with the day-to-day management of the site, and are an important part of the Property Management Team. This team is a team of highly motivated professionals who are committed to serving our diverse resident population.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSComplianceResponsible for the site-based, property management program complianceInterviews residents and timely processes certifications in accordance with HUD rules and regulations along with CommonBond Communities policies and proceduresAccurately enters compliance information into YARDI (computer software system)Property ManagementMaintains resident relations to promote a positive image for the development, program, and CommonBond CommunitiesSupports property management by professionally administering marketing, leasing, subsidy administration, and the turnover operationsPerform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrated proficiency and accuracy with numbers and detailsAbility to maintain an accurate record keeping systemOrganized and able to prioritize multiple tasksOutstanding customer serviceCarry out CommonBond's Mission, Vision, and Values
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTSWorking knowledge of federally assisted housing regulationsIndustry certification in HUD programs or Tax CreditOne-year property management experienceExperience with YARDI softwareFair Housing knowledge
