Practice Administrator
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Practice Administrator to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our firm. Key responsibilities include managing office logistics and facilities, streamlining and enhancing administrative processes, and overseeing HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration. The role also involves coordinating with our third-party IT provider to maintain and improve technology systems and equipment. As a leader, you will foster a positive work environment, support staff development, and collaborate closely with senior leadership. Additionally, you'll play a critical role in risk management by ensuring compliance with industry regulations and mitigating organizational risks.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management - oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring that all departments function smoothly and efficiently. This includes anything office and building related (i.e., insurance, lease, office supplies, maintenance).
Process Management - evaluating current firm processes and improving/implementing new processes, specifically administrative processes to drive firm efficiency.
HR Management - manage the employee life cycle (i.e., recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and terminating employees). This includes handling of employee benefit and payroll related.
IT - oversee the IT function by managing the relationship with our third-party MSP. This includes coordinating network updates, maintaining staff and office equipment and exploring integration of new technology to improve operational efficiency across all departments.
Leadership and Development - lead and develop administrative staff, promoting a positive work environment, and ensuring professional development and training opportunities for employees. This includes working closely with the leadership group.
Risk Management - ensuring the firm is up to date with industry regulations and standards, and managing risks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of experience in a similar/related role
Local to the Albany Area or willing to travel into work every day
