Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs design manager you'll get to do more than lead a team of creative designers, content writers and rich media professionals. You'll showcase your expertise establishing a clear, creative vision for all design and digital deliverables. More specifically, you'll get to:

Translate CSR objectives into clear creative design strategies, guidelines, campaigns and deliverables.

Consult across teams to implement delightful user experiences for our key programs.

Lead the development of collateral for print, video, web, case studies, e-mail, social and more.

Apply digital marketing approaches to drive awareness and usage of the CSR programs.

Manage our strategy, planning and collateral at external events.

Collaborate with IBM marketing and communication teams.

Establish project priorities, staff, schedules, and ensure goals and deadlines are met.

Provide guidance and leadership to a team of designers, content writers and/or creative professionals.

Manage design vendors from staffing, projects, and budgets.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5 years of design and marketing leadership, particularly with, but not limited to web, social, marketing, user experiences and technology approaches.

Must be a creative and strategic thinker.

Hands-on experience in empathy, research, analytics, collaboration, quick prototyping and storytelling and web practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to make outstanding presentations to stakeholders.

Have in-depth knowledge of design thinking methods and digital marketing.

Understand the impact of design and campaigns.

Excellent people management skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Awareness of current trends in business, design, and technology.

Experience with design tools like but not limited to Mural, Adobe, Invision, Figma, GA, and others.

Understanding emerging opportunities in digital marketing.

Salary Range$80K -- $100K

Minimum QualificationDesign & UX

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
