At Catapult, we are currently supporting one of our members in their search for a Benefits Administrator. This position will be located onsite in Charlotte, NC, working alongside a comprehensive team supporting an employee population spanning multiple states.Ideal Benefits Administrator candidates are detail-oriented and dedicated to providing exemplary internal customer service to employees, while also being passionate about benefits, and possessing significant, well-rounded employee benefit plan administration and leave of absence management experience.Responsibilities:

Carryout the administration of employee benefit plans in accordance with Federal, State, and Local compliance, and Company policies and plan documents, including but not limited to core benefit plans, ancillary benefit plans, 401(k) plans, and leaves of absence

Assist with day-to-day compliance of the 401(k) plan, ensuring effective processing of plan-related requests, such as hardship withdrawals and QDROs

Create clear and informative communications about benefits plans for employees, including open enrollment processes, educational materials, and required employee benefit plan disclosure documents

Manage leaves of absence, such as FMLA, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed

Conduct audits on eligibility, enrollment, and status changes, ensuring compliance with plan rules and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Degree in Human Resources or a related field

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in employee benefit plans and administration, including experience with compliance, ERISA, welfare benefit plans, COBRA, and leaves of absence

High attention to detail, exemplary customer service, and strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex benefits information to employees in a clear, engaging, and approachable manner

Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office programs

Experience supporting multi-state employee populations

Certifications, such as PHR, SHRM-CP, and/or CEBS preferred
