Who You'll Work WithYou will be part of McKinsey's Ethics and Compliance (E&C) function and will be based in North America. The E&C function's mission is to manage risks to the firm, our clients, and our people, while also enabling firm's client impact and innovation. The E&C function is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of the firm. McKinsey has an E&C program that is structured in a way that ensures that it is well designed, empowered to function effectively, and works in practice. Our E&C program includes a clear message that misconduct is not tolerated as well as policies, procedures, training, monitoring and consequence management to ensure the program is well-integrated into the firm's operations and workforce. This opportunity works in Compliance Capabilities, responsible for ensuring consistency in the fundamentals / building blocks and effectiveness of our E&C program. This role reports to the Associate Director of Compliance Capabilities, Data and Insights.

In this role, you will drive implementation of strategic and operational initiatives to deliver data and insights for a variety of E&C programs, including but not limited to compliance with policies, procedures, and practices, risk assessments, allegations, and reportable events associated with potential violations of law. To accomplish E&C program reporting goals, you will source, validate and aggregate data to drive actionable insights and reporting by collaborating with a range of stakeholders across the firm. You will regularly produce quality regular reporting for internal and external audiences on ethics and compliance matters. To improve the quality and efficiency of the reporting, you will support implementation of data, technology and tooling capabilities to enable visible and optimal data quality, appropriate use of analytics and use of a unified set of reporting systems and tools. You will apply appropriate problem-solving approaches and build recommendations to changes in the firm policies, procedures and practices, including trainings and communications, based on insights from data and external sources. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role. You will manage interactions with a cross-functional and senior stakeholder group (e.g., Legal, Risk) across the firm in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, you will lead a high-impact team to deliver against priorities, supporting their growth and development needs through processes such as review, recruitment, and coaching. Finally, you will play a critical role in sustaining and evolving our E&C program and upholding our commitment to integrity and lawful practices.
Your qualifications and skills
Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree(s) and/or applicable professional certifications preferred7+ years professional experience working with or leading teams to deliver data, modeling and analytics capabilitiesExperience in Forensic risk consulting and/or Big 4 preferredExperience with defensive writing skills, including external reporting preferredStrong Excel, Tableau (or other data visualization technology), analytical and data management skills preferredExperience in third party tools for data and analytics (e.g., PySpark) preferredDemonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset to progress on ambiguous problems and see them through to resolutionOutstanding written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and craft cohesive storylines and communicationsAdept at influencing and engaging with all types of audiences to cultivate trust-based, peer-counselor relationshipsBuilds trust-based relationships with leaders within and outside of the team; collaborates generously with others and is sought after as a key thought partnerExceptional organizational and project management skills, with ability to drive to outcomes on cross-functional and complex topicsExhibit highest levels of discretion and judgment in safeguarding confidential materialsDemonstrated track record of enabling a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive environment for all colleaguesPassion for people development and experience for leading global, multi-disciplinary teams
