A chemical engineering and manufacturing company based in Norwich, CT is seeking a System Administrator to sit onsite in their Norwich, CT location. This candidate will work on a team of three to support company with creating dashboard for existing and future documentation. In this role you'll install/configure software, monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security and efficiency in IT infrastructure. Consistent tasks will be to give access in active directory and pull spread sheets to build a file repository in Power platform. The company is working in a Microsoft environment and looking to move from on prem to the cloud so you will get that exposure.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience as a System Administrator using group policy and active directoryExperience using Power PlatformExperience working in an Office 365 and VMWare environmentMonitor performance and maintain systems according to requirementsStrong ability to troubleshoot issues and problem solveBe willing to work cross functionally

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience scripting using PowerShell or BashExperience working in a cloud environmentExperience building reporting dashboards from scratch
