Full-Stack Java/Angular Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Stack Java/Angular Developer to work on both legacy and modern application stacks. The ideal candidate will support two teams working on Java Swing, EJB, legacy technologies, and newer technologies like microservices, RESTful APIs, and Angular. The role requires strong backend development skills with an understanding of frontend development.

Key Responsibilities

•Work on Java Swing, EJB, and legacy technologies, supporting older codebases.

•Support newer applications using microservices, RESTful APIs, and Angular.

•Write simple P/L queries and understand relational databases, specifically Oracle.

•Assist with backend development and frontend development in Angular.

•Participate in Agile development, working in 2-week sprints.

•Support the DOT application and credentialing process application.

•Contribute to the internal application that manages provider data impacting claims processing.

Required Qualifications

•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Core Java (Java 11).

•Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Angular (version 2+).

•Experience with PL SQL for database queries.

•Familiarity with DevOps practices and shell scripting.

•Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.

•Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly Oracle.

•Experience with Agile development methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

•Insurance or healthcare industry experience.

•Knowledge of EJB and Java Swing technologies.
