Job Description
Join a diverse team making the world a better place. As part of the A.J. Boggs & Company (AJBoggs) Human Resources (HR) Team, Information Technology (IT) Recruiters work to attract and select both in-house and contract positions with highly qualified, exceptional professionals.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan and organize recruiting activities, including strategic recruiting plans to achieve talent objectives and improve our business processes.
- Create sourcing plans to identify the best strategies and sources of IT professionals.
- Work with Team Leaders and other position Sponsors to define selection criteria, including helping to select and improve assessment instruments and methods.
- Lead recruitment efforts, writing and placing advertisements, targeting under-represented communities, attending job fairs and other conferences, conducting reference checks, and working with sponsors to assess candidates.
- Screen potential candidates to evaluate their potential to meet specified job requirements and to check to ensure a good fit with company culture.
- Arrange interviews with candidates, hiring managers, job sponsors, and other stakeholders; facilitate decisions to hire exceptional talent.
- Work with the HR Team to develop plans, policies, and procedures to encourage and sustain diverse teams to produce excellence and help everyone thrive and belong. Provide support for the administration, coordination, and evaluation of the HR functions within AJBoggs.
- Review organization designs, including job descriptions, and help to define policies and procedures to clarify and assert clear authority and responsibilities.
- Work with HR to develop and maintain programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including immigration regulations and affirmative action programs.
- Help develop vendor management processes, especially for third-party personnel/contractors.
- Help manage and track training programs.
- Help manage, develop, and issue press releases for promotions, new hires, new business, and blogging.
Requirements

Required Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of HR experience; or a combination of an Associate’s degree and more than five (5) years of HR experience.
Preferred Education and Experience: A degree in HR management or experience in an HR department in an IT environment. HR experience with an IT company is preferred, especially successful software development, cloud, or Internet product organizations.
Desirable qualifications: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential. Experience recruiting candidates with immigration (visa) requirements and government contract qualifications.

Work Environment: Work can be remote, onsite in our Headquarters in Okemos, Michigan, USA, or hybrid. Travel will be required for this position. If working in the Okemos office, work will be in the Office 3 to 4 days per week and travel will be primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be needed. For remote workers, periodic travel to Michigan is required.
