Job Description

Summary

The IT Coordinator serves as a link between end users and higher-level support and is engaged in technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer systems and software.

Primary Functions / Duties:Act as a link between end users and higher-level support to facilitate resolutions of issues.Install new / rebuild existing computers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, etc.Provide day-to-day end user support by troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing equipment; install updates and/or applications.Support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and VOIP systems.Coordinate with internal and external parties in support of MTE operations and effectiveness.Responsible for responding to, documenting, and resolving ServiceNow tickets in a timely manner.Perform root cause analysis, develop checklists for typical problems, and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention.Ability to learn in-house applications as required.Access Database, responsible for organizing and maintaining current databases.Perform various duties as assigned.Follow all EHS guidelines and applicable procedures.Secondary Functions / Duties:

Data entry and record keeping for the Ditech refurbished tank line.Support shipping, purchasing, and production needs as an administrator for the refurbished tank department.Qualifications

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications.Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration, VPN, Remote access.Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.Conceptual knowledge of antivirus and anti-malware software and procedures (we utilize Crowdstrike).Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to provide support to a diverse group of employees.Strong capacity for analysis and problem solving.Self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Proven ability to research, organize, and coordinate multiple projects.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Proficiency in the following hardware: Printers, PC's, remote access devices.Preferred experience in IOT infrastructure development.Proficiency in the following software: Active Directory, Office 365, UNIX and ERP software (specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365) would be a plus.Education

Minimum Required : Associates Degree from an accredited two-year college in a related fieldPreferred:

BSc / BA in Information Technology or Computer ScienceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations

CompTIA A+, Network+, and/or Microsoft Certification is a plus, but not required.Experience

Minimum Required:

1 - 2 Years' experience in end-user, desktop, or helpdesk support.Preferred:

At least 2 years of similar experience. A comparable combination of education and related employment experience may be considered.Additional Information
