We will empower you to lead, develop deep expertise, and find new approaches to solving the toughest challenges.Position Overview:Provide policy and programmatic support to the U.S.-Türkiye Business Council, the U.S.-Kazakhstan Business Council, and related initiatives in the broader Middle East and Central Asia region. Support the development of policy agendas, programs, and events for the U.S.-Türkiye Business Council and the U.S.-Kazakhstan Business Council and other initiatives as needed. Liaise with a broad range of companies, government agencies, and business associations in the U.S., Türkiye, Kazakhstan, and other countries across the Middle East and Central Asia region.Responsibilities:Contribute content for updates, newsletters, and the website based on meetings and business/policy developments.Help craft positions and advance policy advocacy by preparing meeting briefings, speeches, position papers, and other materials for government officials, corporate members, policy committees, media outlets, and the general public.Assist with trade missions, program development, speaker recruitment, communications, and research.Support financial management, budgeting, and creating and collecting invoices for programs.Promote efforts to expand membership.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years’ experience in a Middle East-focused business or policy setting, preferably overseas.Demonstrated success in planning large meetings, including international conferences, delegation visits, and business missions.An understanding of and familiarity with business associations or American business operations in Türkiye and Central Asia.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to work with high-level executives and government officials.Able to multitask and meet strict deadlines.Flexibility to travel internationally.The salary range for this position is $64,420.00 to $75,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors.
