About The Role
The Inventory Supply Planner will be responsible for translating demand forecasts into actionable inventory plans at the SKU level.This role involves managing inventory across multiple channels, including retail and eCommerce, to ensure product availability.The planner will build and maintain inventory supply plans that balance store demand and minimize excess stock.Allocation of inventory to North American retail stores will be a key responsibility, ensuring alignment with regional demand.The role requires proactive management of stock levels to maintain high in-stock rates and address potential stockouts or overstock situations.Collaboration with wholesale, merchandising, demand forecast planners, and logistics teams is essential to optimize inventory management.The planner will maintain up-to-date inventory reports and track key performance indicators related to inventory performance.Continuous improvement of inventory allocation processes and forecasting accuracy will be a focus of this position.Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain management, preferably in retail or eCommerce.A strong understanding of retail supply chain dynamics is essential, including experience with both eCommerce and physical retail channels.Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, enabling them to interpret complex data and make informed, data-driven decisions.Proficiency in inventory management systems and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, is required.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are crucial for managing inventory-related issues effectively.Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work cross-functionally with various teams.A proactive and results-oriented mindset is important for adapting to changing business needs and managing multiple priorities.
