This pivotal role encompasses directing product management, channel management, business intelligence, branding, and communications with a focus on robust demand generation strategies to ensure substantial business growth. The director will operationalize specific KPIs to measure, analyze, and elevate performance across all marketing dimensions.Key Responsibilities:Product Management:
Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that drive revenue growth through existing products and services portfolio.Work in partnership with engineering to define and launch new services offerings.Develop pricing strategies and EBITDA improvement programs through our quoting and CPY process.Regularly evaluate and optimize the product portfolio based on performance metrics and market demand.KPIs:
Increase revenue from existing products/services annually.Achieve a year-over-year gross profit percentage growth.Enhance GMROI on the top 80% of revenue by brand.Design and implement channel strategies in partnership with the Segment leaders to improve integration and performance across all marketing channels.Work in collaboration with our OEM partners to bring products and aftermarket parts to our segments effectively.Foster strong partnerships and synchronize efforts across various distribution channels to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.New Product Launches:
Lead the launch of new products and services, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals.Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective market penetration and adoption of new offerings.Customer Insights (Know customer 360°):
Utilize analytics and customer data to deepen understanding of customer behavior and needs.Apply comprehensive segmentation criteria to refine marketing strategies and customer interactions.Customer Acquisition:
Develop targeted strategies to attract and acquire new customers from identified high-priority sectors.Optimize the sales funnel from lead generation to order intake, focusing on improving conversion rates.Customer Retention and Expansion:
Implement initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and expand share of spend among existing customers.Conduct regular pricing reviews to ensure competitiveness and profitability.Minimum Qualifications:At least 10 years of strategic marketing experience, preferably in the marine, power, or defense industries.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.Demonstrated leadership in managing marketing teams and strategic projects.Strategic and analytical thinking, strong leadership qualities, advanced communication skills, and a capacity for innovative problem-solving.Working Conditions:Primarily office-based with occasional travel for market research, partner engagement, and team coordination.All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
