Come be a part of a team with over 100 years combined experience in Beautiful Miami!Salary: $90,000 - $120,000Location: Miami, FLWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Criminal Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The candidate must be a member of the Florida bar in good standing and have at least 1 year of experience as a criminal defense attorney. Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and legal professionals are a must.Responsibilities:
Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including but not limited to, misdemeanors, felonies, and appeals.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Negotiate plea bargains and settlements with prosecutors.Prepare and present cases in court, including arguing motions and conducting trials.Advise clients on their legal rights and options.Maintain accurate and complete case files and records.Communicate effectively with clients, legal professionals, and court personnel.Stay up-to-date with changes in criminal law and procedure.Qualifications:
