This role will be responsible for the execution of all the Procurement activities at Aro Homes and building lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships with our external partners.As part of our Procurement department, you will report to the Global Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for executing the supply/demand planning and the accurate replenishment of mission-critical materials and services across all orgs - from procurement to customer success and everyone in between - in order to ensure seamless company-wide communication and top-notch performance as we scale nationwide.In this important role, you will be the cross-functional partner who supports a broad swath of critical business processes. You’ll lead the inventory replenishment roadmap that is focused on making us more efficient and effective at achieving current objectives and being prepared for future initiatives. A successful candidate will be highly organized, technically nimble, and obsessed with automation and the customer experience.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop appropriate supply chain strategies to maximize the lowest possible cost.Forecast material requirements and optimize inventory management to prevent stockouts or overstock.Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and value engineering in the procurement process.Manage inventory levels, oversee reordering processes, and coordinate material delivery schedules with suppliers to meet project requirements. Build open and trusting relationships with our external partners.Communicate regularly with stakeholders about procurement status, potential delays, or changes in material supply.Ensure that all procured materials meet project specifications, quality standards, and compliance regulations.Identify and mitigate risks associated with material shortages, price fluctuations, and supplier reliability. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.Work closely with quality control, inventory management, and design teams to address any material defects, discrepancies, or issues.Work cross-functionally with the Plant, Design, and Site Operations Teams on all inventory-related inquiries.Generate regular procurement reports on material costs, supplier performance, and inventory metrics for management review.Be a member of the operations staff, responsible for routinely reporting on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.Support the implementation and proper utilization of ERP system (NetSuite).Candidate Requirements and Qualifications:3+ years’ experience in Procurement.Innovative thinker willing to take smart risks and try new approaches.Strong analytical capabilities.Entrepreneurial experience.Thinking outside the box, non-traditional.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Able to build motivated, capable, and engaged teams.Bias for action.What we offer:Opportunity to join an outstanding early-stage team and grow a purpose-driven company from the ground up.Competitive salary package.Medical/dental/vision benefits.Equity in the company.$90,000 - $130,000 a year
