We are seeking a Team Leader of Cloud Security to guide and support a team of Security Analysts in detecting and responding to security incidents. In this role, you will oversee the team’s processes, projects, and daily operations while ensuring team members are equipped with the skills and tools needed for thorough investigations and root cause analysis. You will provide incident escalation support, lead incident response efforts, and collaborate with stakeholders to align security operations with business needs. This is a key role for someone passionate about cloud security and team development.What You’ll Do:Ensures the team is monitoring security events, logs, and user requests to identify potential threats and investigate issues.Oversees active security alerts and reports to ensure that all threats are identified and mitigated quickly, effectively, and with minimal business impact.Provides escalation support and mentorship for junior analysts.Leads incident response and collaborates with senior analysts to eradicate and mitigate threats.Conducts advanced investigation and analysis of incidents to determine their root cause.Maintains security automations and identifies new automation opportunities and security policy enhancements.Collaborates with other teams to resolve security incidents and implement corrective actions.Documents security events and response for further escalation and review.Works with business and management stakeholders to improve Cloud Security capabilities, develop security strategies, and implement new technologies.Identifies and assigns adequate training and development opportunities for Cloud Security team members.Support assigned Sales team following Yardi’s established contracting and sales support procedures.Who You Are:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information security, computer science, or related field.Five plus (5+) years of experience working with security solutions and technologies.Two plus (2+) years of experience working in information/endpoint/network security role.Experience leading a team, fostering growth, and balancing team dynamics.Working knowledge of security incident response processes and root cause determination.Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), security methodologies (ACL/NAC), and topologies.Working knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux workstation and server operating systems.Basic proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).Ability to map the impact of technical and operational changes to environment and clients.Ability to build and maintain relationships to communicate effectively across multiple teams and with business stakeholders.Ability to develop and refine processes.Ability to make risk-based decisions within business context and requirements.Adaptability and ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment.Ideal to have:Solid understanding of Information Security methodology.Working knowledge of NIST CSF and incident response handling procedures (SP 800-61).Working knowledge of containerization concepts and tools (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).Working knowledge of analyzing, responding, and remediating network intrusions, web application, and server attacks.Working knowledge of advanced TTPs.Working knowledge of SQL.Familiarity with audit control activities (SOC I, SOC II, PCI, FedRAMP).Mentorship and training capabilities.Real Estate runs on Yardi.
