National Sales Manager
is responsible for managing and directing Sales Representatives assigned to Domestic Sales and serves as a liaison with domestic distributors along with Sales Representatives. This person will also assist with developing and executing Sales and Marketing plans for commercial sales.Essential Duties and AccountabilitiesSupervises all Domestic Sales Representatives, Shooters, and Distributor Trainers activities.Approves sample requests and other needs identified by Sales Representatives.Assists in the development of the sales and marketing plan along with EVP of Commercial Business.Identifies target market opportunities with Sales Representatives in assigned territories.Maintains monthly reports on target markets.Liaison with top-level distributors and Sales Representatives.Coordinates training with Sales Representatives, Shooters, Distributor Trainers, and Distributors.Assists with the coordination of ballistic shoot presentations.Maintains working knowledge of competitor products.Communicates with the Customer Service Department to identify issues and assist with problem-solving.Provides guidance and suggestions to EVP of Commercial Business to improve sales and marketing plan.Communicates sales and marketing plan to Sales Representatives and ensures understanding.Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.Maintains a safe and clean work area.Performs additional duties as assigned or required.QualificationsMust have 10 years of experience in sales/marketing in the Law Enforcement market.Have some level of understanding of ballistic armor products.Prior management or supervisory experience is required (minimum of 5 years).Experience in strategic planning and execution.Must be willing to travel 50% of the time.Must read, write, and speak fluent English.Must be authorized to work in the USA.Physical Demands and Working ConditionsRequires sitting for a prolonged period of time.Requires moving from place to place within the office with minimal reaching of times above or below desk level.Requires handling files, stacks of paper, reference, and other materials with occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.Requires strength, dexterity, coordination, and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.Requires traveling 50% of the time.To conform to U.S. Government commercial space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), applicants for employment at Point Blank Enterprises, Inc. must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e., current green card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under applicable laws.Point Blank Enterprises, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and is committed to attracting, retaining, and developing a highly qualified, diverse, and dedicated workforce.
