We are looking for people who have the same deep belief to expand our reach and engagement with our community. RESPONSIBILITIES Leads renewal strategy on agency’s top accounts. Practically seeks and develops new business opportunities from Sales Executives and explores potential cross-selling avenues. Takes charge of renewing existing business and actively pursues opportunities to expand coverage. Provides dedicated service to accounts and provides assistance with claims when necessary. Handles application completion, obtains quotes, negotiates insurance program, and prepares comprehensive proposals and presentations. Facilitates binding coverage, prepares binders, and delegates certificate of insurance. Conducts thorough reviews of coverage, identifies gaps or shortcomings, and recommends suitable adjustments. Arranges client meetings as necessary or as directed by the Sales Executive. Acts as a technical expert, providing assistance to team members in resolving intricate issues. Support, mentor, and train other colleagues when applicable. Delegate specified tasks and assignments to Account Associates and Technicians, as appropriate. Adheres to agency management system standards and maintains data integrity by entering and maintaining complete and accurate information. Performs additional responsibilities as assigned. Work Experience Requirements: Property and Casualty license required. Minimum 10+ years of insurance brokerage experience, preferably servicing clients in real estate and construction. Extensive knowledge of how insurance products are utilized and administered. Extensive knowledge of markets and marketing techniques. Professional designations preferred such as CRIS, CIC, CPCU or ARM. Applied Epic experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and insurance experience. Excellent oral and written English communications skills. Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment. Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
