Principal Machine Learning Engineer, Ads MeasurementOverview
We are looking for a hands-on software engineering leader with a machine learning background, familiar with the end-to-end Ads systems, experienced with Ads privacy and PETs, capable of leading across different engineering and cross-functional organizations, as well as willing to get their hands dirty and solve problems when the team lacks the expertise.Responsibilities
Design, implement, test, and launch complex product and infrastructure changes across the entire Ads stack.Deliver through others as well as doing hands-on work.Lead projects from concept, design, implementation, to rollout, ensuring the highest quality and performance.Identify opportunities to enhance Ad Privacy and PET capabilities by diving deep into our platform and understanding the company priorities as well as the needs of our advertisers.Design and develop applied machine learning models for modeled conversions, identity matching, and privacy enhancing technologies, from ideation to production deployment.Collaborate with data scientists and backend software engineers.Mentor staff engineers and leaders, share industry knowledge, and contribute to the technical growth of the team.Conduct A/B tests and experiments to iterate and fine-tune algorithms and models.Stay updated on state-of-the-art algorithmic techniques and recognize promising innovations, adapting them to Reddit's unique platform and community.Qualifications
Technical leader capable of creating and aligning on PET visions to solve challenges for at least the next 2+ years.Advocate for privacy when delivering Ads performance goals by working across job functions (product, engineering, privacy, legal, etc.) across the company.Expert in Ads Measurement and PETs such as aggregation and anonymization, K-anonymity, differential privacy.PET experience spans across multiple Ads domains such as Signals, Measurement, Optimization, Delivery, Targeting, Ranking, Bidding, etc.Familiar with Ads privacy (GDPR, CCPA, ePD, ATT, etc.) and experienced with evolving the Ads stack to meet the privacy needs when developing PETs.Track record of delivering high Ads performance post signal loss.Benefits
