The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of trust and estate law, exhibit exceptional client service skills, and have a proven track record of handling trust and estate matters with precision and a keen attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:Estate Planning: Draft, review, and amend a variety of estate planning documents including, but not limited to, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives.Trust Administration: Oversee the administration of trusts, including the provision of legal advice to trustees on their duties and responsibilities, interpretation of trust documents, and distribution to beneficiaries.Estate Administration: Counsel personal representatives and beneficiaries through the probate process, prepare and file court documents, ensure the timely transfer of assets, and handle estate tax matters.Tax Planning: Provide advice on the tax implications of various estate planning strategies, prepare estate and gift tax returns, and stay updated on changes in tax law that may affect clients.Litigation: Represent clients in disputes related to wills, trusts, and estates, including will contests, trust disputes, and claims against fiduciaries.Client Consultation: Meet with clients to gather information, provide legal counsel, and develop an appropriate estate planning strategy tailored to their needs and goals.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, rulings, and changes in trust and estate law to ensure top-notch advice and services to clients.Collaboration: Work closely with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive service for clients.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Current license to practice law in [specific state/country].5 years of experience specifically in trust and estate law.Proficiency in legal research tools and estate planning software.Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
