With all the information accessible today, it takes a capable specialist to know how to collect, organize, and present data concisely to clients. If you have professional or military experience in analysis, along with a can-do mindset, we have an opportunity for you to use those skills to help enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of senior government and military decisionmakers and planners, and support real-world missions in a dynamic, client environment.As a Biomedical Engineer, you will support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific and bio-engineering research, reverse bio-engineering analysis and characterizations, facility and vulnerability assessments, and analytic production on foreign biomedical capabilities. You will combine your knowledge of biology, medicine, and engineering to examine medical devices, equipment, and systems. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, scientists, and researchers to identify supply chain vulnerabilities and assist various challenges that arise in the field of biomedical engineering.You will be part of a unique, multi-discipline team assisting partners to fuse operations and intelligence information to enhance government efforts against current and emerging threats, and counterproliferation efforts. Join us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our nation’s leaders.You Have:8+ years of experience supporting defense analytic requirements with scientific or bioengineering researchExperience reviewing analytical products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate supportKnowledge of latest biomedical trends and advancements, technologies and systems that contribute to diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseasesAbility to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasksAbility to work independently and with minimal oversightActive TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examNice If You Have:Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular or Microbiology, Public Health, Immunology, Virology, Biotechnology, or BiodefenseClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
