It is comprised of team members who are highly collaborative and committed to a culture of work/life balance and continual learning and development.Position OverviewAnnalect is currently seeking a frontend engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will build Annalect products which sit atop our Big Data infrastructure and utilize our componentized design system. In 2019 we adopted web components to help us build web applications in a modular and reusable way. We're looking for people who have a shared passion for data and desire to build cool, maintainable and high-quality applications to use this data. In this role you will participate in implementing our technical architecture, develop software products, and collaborate with frontend engineers from other tracks.Key ResponsibilitiesLearn and gain proficiency with our frontend tech stack which includes web components and the Lit templating library, state management libraries and routing solutions, frontend tooling and system configurations.Independently complete assigned issues which may include, but not be limited to, design updates, bugfixes, and new feature development.Required Skills and QualificationsMore than 3 years of relevant experience building frontend UIs and web applications.Confidence to tackle frontend engineering issues of intermediate difficulty and give meaningful code reviews to issues with low difficulty.Ability to work on routine work with minimal instruction and complex work or new assignments with detailed instructions.Ability to collaborate and partner with others to accomplish team objectives.Ability to communicate technical content and your decision-making to peers.Additional SkillsAppreciation for aesthetic ideals and beautiful design. Excellent sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience.TypeScript and Vue.js knowledge and experience a plus.Knowledge of AWS or other cloud environments a plus.Python language and development experience a plus.Perks of working at AnnalectCulture! Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.Compensation Range: $68,000 — $130,000 USD.This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs.
