THE WORK
This position is for a plant manager supporting the Lockheed Martin La Mesa production facility in Tijuana, Mexico.
The position will lead a site in a fast-paced manufacturing work environment.
You will be responsible for talent, safety, quality, cost and schedule performance for a team of ~400 employees.
Willing to travel across the U.S./Mexico border 5 days/week.
WHO YOU ARE
You are a leader with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate statuses and priorities across multiple layers of personnel (i.e. floor operators up to Program Management Office). You also will demonstrate the ability to build effective relationships within the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of related professional experience in Maquiladora manufacturing environment.
Experience managing multi-faceted organization and/or experience with large scale change management.
Fluent in both English and Spanish.
Ability to work and travel within the U.S. and Mexico.
Proven ability to establish and manage operations overall budget, staffing, quality, cost and schedule for multiple teams.
Desired Skills:
Prior experience within Lockheed Martin's Mexico facility.
Ability to represent Lockheed Martin within the surrounding community.
Lead a high-volume production line.
Knowledge of Import/Export and Labor Laws.
Lean and Six Sigma experience and/or black belt/green belt certification.
Basic knowledge of Mexican accounting and financial principles.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $127,700 - $244,600.
