Litigation Associate Attorney
with 3-5 years of litigation experience. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in managing written discovery, depositions, and drafting legal documents, as well as attending mediation and court appearances. This role requires a strong academic background, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.Duties:Manage various aspects of litigation, including written discovery and depositions.Draft and review pleadings, substantive motions, and other legal documents.Attend and participate in mediations, court appearances, and trial proceedings.Assist in trial preparation and support during trial.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.Collaborate with team members to develop and implement case strategies.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in litigation.Demonstrated experience with written discovery, depositions, drafting pleadings and motions, attending mediations and court appearances, and trial assistance.Strong academic record with a focus on litigation.Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar in California and in good standing.Skills:Advanced analytical and legal research capabilities.Proficient in drafting and preparing legal documents.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to case management.Benefits Offered:Comprehensive benefits package including:Medical (HSA with employer contribution or PPO options).Dental and vision insurance.Life insurance.Short- and long-term disability coverage.Various parental leave options.Well-being/EAP resources.Sick and vacation time.Generous 401(k) retirement plan.
